Born and raised in Eastern Kentucky, I credit my Appalachian roots as one of the most driving forces behind who I am as a person and a designer. I have a special appreciation for the notion of "home", as both a place and a feeling, knowing from experience that the sensations of comfort and warmth know neither how grand nor how humble their surroundings are. I strive to create and nurture this feeling of "home" in every space that I touch- creating beautiful environments while keeping in mind the functional needs of the humans that occupy and find peace in them each day.

Since graduating from the University of Kentucky in 2020, I've worked consistently in real estate and interior design in both Central and Eastern Kentucky. After a completed historic renovation of our 1892 residence  in Lexington, I returned "home" to the hills of Eastern Kentucky alongside my amazing husband (Liles Interiors' star "installer"). Here we are tackling yet another massive renovation, while raising our 9 dogs and 8 cats... and trying to keep our sanity.
